Innovative products
Two examples illustrate the innovative power of the Schulthess Maschinen AG in the product range:
The Spirit topLine Generation with spacious drums and the special free floating technology from Schulthess met with a very positive reaction from the market. The new drum makes room for optimum washing and provides advantages for washing, rinsing and spinning.
The Spirit topLine TW 8240 heat pump tumble dryer with integrated heat pump has excellent energy consumption. The heat pump technology makes it possible to halve energy consumption in comparison with ordinary dryers.
Innovation in production
Quality, speed and flexibility are the main demands on production. Wherever possible, the philosophy is “ordered yesterday, made today, delivered tomorrow”. The Schulthess Group uses ingenious production and control systems in its production sites to provide high levels of flexibility. Automated processes increase quality and efficiency. In addition, our highly motivated and well qualified employees can be offered interesting, varied tasks.
Our innovative conveyor production is pioneering and exemplary, the Schulthess variant of “just in time” pro-duction. Pre-assembly of volume components, assembly, testing and dispatch take place as part of a “flow” using the most modern production systems. The assembly concept whereby volume com-ponents such as drums, washing liquor tanks and casings are only assembled into components in the assembly hall has the advantage that transport is almost done away with. Transparency, quality and efficiency are in the foreground.
